Player Bio
Contest at our local track, Canterbury Park, annually holds a Road to the Derby contest. Had only played a few weeks in previous years; just too busy to compete every week during the duration (over 20 weeks) of the contest. This year I set a goal just to see if I could play ever week and try and place in Top 30 overall. COVID came along and stretched the contest from Jan to Sept. Ended up finishing 2nd overall. Won an entry from contest above to participate in final contest for the NHR seat; ending up hitting several longshots in 10 mandatory races to win a seat. Never been to a NHC event, so pretty excited.
