NTRA TODAY IN THOROUGHBRED RACING HISTORY

- 2013 Leading sire and G1 winner Strom Cat was euthanized at Overbrook Farm due to the infirmities of old age. He was 30 years old. Storm Cat entered stud in 1988 at Overbrook and at one point in his career commanded a $500,000 stud fee. He was bred and raced for the late William T. Young of Overbrook Farm.

WHAT WE DO.
The mission of the NTRA is to increase the popularity, welfare and integrity of Thoroughbred racing through consensus-based leadership, legislative advocacy, safety and integrity initiatives, fan engagement and corporate partner development.
