- 2011 Jess Jackson, owner of Stonestreet Stables which campaigned champions Curlin and Rachel Alexandra, died at age 81 after a long battle with cancer.

WHAT WE DO.
The mission of the NTRA is to increase the popularity, welfare and integrity of Thoroughbred racing through consensus-based leadership, legislative advocacy, safety and integrity initiatives, fan engagement and corporate partner development.
