May 26
- 2014 Six-time Eclipse Award-winning trainer Todd Pletcher moved past D. Wayne Lukas to become Thoroughbred racing's leading trainer by earnings when Pletcher trainee Jack Milton rallied from last to win the $300,000 Poker Stakes at Belmont Park. Pletcher's runners had earned $268,512,294 at the time compared to second place Lukas who had accumulated earnings of $268,467,262.
