CONTEST RULES AND REGULATIONS
1. Entrants will make one mythical $2 win and $2 place wagers on one horse in each of the ten (10) selected tournament races. The wagers must be made on the same horse to win and place. In the event of a late scratch, contestants will be given the post time favorite.
2. Win odds will be capped at 20-1, resulting in a maximum payoff of $42 on a $2 win bet. Place odds are capped at 10-1, resulting in a maximum payoff of $22 on a $2 place bet.
3. All bets are mythical and mandatory. Entrants may select only one horse per race. Entrants cannot make more than one wager in any one race.
4. Tournament wagering closes approximately five (5) minutes before post time of each of the ten (10) selected tournament races on Saturday, September 27 and Saturday, October 4.
5. Coupled betting entries and mutuel fields will be regarded as a single selection.
6. The decision of TVG and the NTRA, in all matters or disputes relating to the tournament is final.
7. In the event of a late scratch, if selections are still open, users may change their selection for that race. If selections have closed, users with the scratched horse as their selection will be given the post time favorite. Selections will not re-open after closing in the event of a late scratch.
8. Users may enter only once per person, per valid e-mail address. All entries submitted with duplicate e-mail addresses will be voided, as will multiple entries submitted under the same name but with different e-mail addresses. Moreover, any entries made through an e-mail address that is determined not to be valid upon completion of the contest will be voided. Proof of identity of winning entries must be provided.
9. Prizes will be based on highest pari-mutuel total based on all ten (10) mythical wagers and tournament cap. In an event of a pari-mutuel tie, prizes will be awarded to contestants with the greatest number of winning selections over the contest. If a tie still remains, winners will be chosen randomly among from the tied entries.
