The Alibi Breakfast is a fun event each year presents an opportunity each year to the connections of the Preakness Stakes contenders to provide an excuse in case of a disappointing performance and to take some playful jabs at each other.
This year's event featured the connections of Kentucky Derby winner Orb as well as Hall of Fame trainer D. Wayne Lukas, who has three entrants for this year's Preakness. Trainer Al Stall, who will saddle top contender Departing, also spoke at the event.
