Two-Minute Lick - Mike Smith
Hall of Fame jockey Mike Smith has won 5,059 races, including a record 17 at the Breeders’ Cup. The Roswell, N.M., native—and regular rider of the incomparable Zenyatta—has already completed his personal Triple Crown, having captured the Kentucky Derby (Giacomo, 2005), the Preakness (Prairie Bayou, 1993) and the Belmont Stakes (Drosselmeyer, 2010). On May 4, Smith will look to add a second Derby win to his illustrious resume aboard Palace Malice.
