2011 Joseph O’Brien, 18, became the youngest jockey to win a Breeders’ Cup race when he guided St Nicholas Abbey to victory in the Breeders’ Cup Turf. St Nicholas Abbey was trained by Joseph’s father, the legendary Irish trainer Aidan O’Brien.
